A Passion for Sustainability and Local Agriculture

Meet Alex Jensen, an American with over 20 years of experience in organic farming, sustainability, and local food systems. Currently, he works with Local Futures Ladakh, an NGO in India focused on strengthening local economies and ecological resilience.

Alex Jensen currently works with Local Futures Ladakh, a non-profit organization in India dedicated to strengthening local economies, preserving cultural heritage, and enhancing ecological resilience in the Himalayan region. The Ladakh program is part of a global movement to relocalize economies and build sustainable communities.

 

His journey brought him to Vietnam, where he sought hands-on experience in coffee cultivation and sustainable farming at HuyEco Coffee Farm—a unique destination for those passionate about ethical agriculture and biodiversity conservation.
